Handwritten certificate, signed by Captain Saint Cyr, giving leave of absence to Adrien St Aubain after the Grenadiers were dissolved in 1833. ‘Louisiana Legion, Company of Grenadiers I certify that Mr. Ad. St.-Aubin did active service in the Company of Grenadiers from the year 1831 until March 24, 1833 – the time of the dissolution of the said Company – in witness whereof I have issued him the present certificate to serve him in case of need.
