In his fundamental work Bunon advises the extraction of milk teeth in order to help the final dentition, he recognizes the influence of diet to the quality of teeth; he also recognized that the plaque is one of the main factors of loss of teeth. His book is one of the earliest works entirely devoted to children’s teeth.
