First edition of these three parts.

This Latin translation by Giovanni Alfonso Borelli (1608-1679) is absed on the Arabic version given by Abu’l-Fath of Ispahan in the year 983 of which the manuscript is located today in the city of Florence.

The fifth book is of particular impoortant as it deals “of normals as minimum and maximum straight lines drawn from given points of the curve”.

Good copy.
