How is an expert valuation carried out?
The valuation can be carried out:
- By appointment in our bookshop in Paris, 6th arrondissement;
- Remotely, by sending photos, lists or documents;
- At home, for large libraries or sensitive works that need to be moved.
We analyse each work according to several criteria: edition, state of preservation, rarity, bibliographical interest and provenance. We provide you with an expert opinion and, if you wish, an estimation with a view to purchase.
