This manual on astronomy, first published by Simon de Colines in 1543, contains here for the first time the “traicté d’Alcabice (…) touchant les conionctions des planetes en chacun des 12 signes, & de leurs pronostications es revolutions des annees”. With a preface by the author dedicated to André Blondet, treasurer and financial controller, dated Paris September 1551. The book is illustrated with one large criblé initial and some schematical woodcuts on zodiacs and planetary constellations. Some occasional foxing, else fine.
