“L’Henrion è un convinto sostenitore della mongolfiera” (Boffito).

Francesco Henrion devoted part of his life to aerostatic machines, not only studying them and producing tests on them, but also building them. A year before our book, he wrote Motodo per construire, e dirigere le machine aereostatiche.

This construction manual was quickly followed by our work, which analyses the flights of various machines, including his own. In 1784, he launched his aerostatic globe from the Ponte alla Carraia. He performed a remarkable achievement when it reached 3,000 feet.

Fine copy in it’s original publisher’s printed wrappers.
